MONACO – Singer Tom Jones was recovering in hospital yesterday after he fell ill and was forced to pull out of a concert in Monaco.
Sir Tom (71) was expected to perform at the Salle des Etoiles as part of Monte Carlo’s Sporting Summer Festival last night but withdrew, suffering from “severe dehydration”.
He was rushed to casualty at Monaco’s Princess Grace Hospital for treatment.
A hospital spokesman said he was now stable. – (PA)
