London - The ideal bicycle saddle should be shaped like a toilet seat, with a big hole in the middle. This novel idea from US researchers has arisen from the discovery that cycling can wither a man's most prized possession - or rather the blood supply which makes it go up.
Consultant surgeon, Mr David Ralph, of the Institute of Urology, in London, says: "Until recently we've not asked patients with erectile dysfunction [impotence] if they ride bicycles. We'll be doing so in future."
