`Title' claims 40,000 sales

The new Irish Sunday newspaper devoted to sport, the Title, is claiming average weekly sales of 40,693 copies

The new Irish Sunday newspaper devoted to sport, the Title, is claiming average weekly sales of 40,693 copies. Its managing director, Mr Ashley Balbirnie, said last night that the figures had been centred by auditors Bastow Charleton. "It is clear our product is already establishing a loyal readership base", he added.

The paper also announced that Mr Pascal Taggart, the businessman and financier, had owned its board.
