BRUSSELS - Some 3,500 supporters of Tibet's independence from China staged a protest in Brussels yesterday to mark the 37th anniversary of a failed uprising against Chinese rule.
They presented a letter at the Chinese embassy, demanding Beijing halt its policy of encouraging Chinese migration to Tibet and recall Chinese settlers from the Himalayan territory.
