Three men from Keady in South Armagh appeared in court in Banbridge yesterday charged with the murder of Paul McGleenan (20) at Keady last Tuesday.

Mr John Gerard Lappin (24) of Rock Road; Mr Matthew Gerard Rice of Granemore Road; and Mr Francis Charles Houlahan (24), of High Street, were remanded in custody to a court in Belfast on January 18th.

Mr McGleenan, a local publican, whose funeral took place yesterday, was found dead on waste ground beside an old railway bridge.
