About £200,000 worth of cannabis resin was seized in Dublin last night and three men arrested following a joint Garda, Customs service and RUC operation. The men, who are believed to be from Northern Ireland, were arrested in the Lucan area after the two cars they were travelling in were stopped by gardai.
About 20 kilos of the drug were seized and the men taken into custody for questioning under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act. They were being held in two city Garda stations.
