A Wexford man, Mr Paddy Walsh (42), from Mary Street, New Ross, died after his car hit a ditch in Clonroach, Co Wexford, last night. In Galway, Mr Mark Kotob (19), of Ballybane, Co Galway, died in hospital after the car in which he was a passenger hit a concrete bench at Grattan Road at about 4.15 a.m.
Mr James Regan (22), from Drumboylan, Co Roscommon, died when his car went into a ditch at Moyoran, between Carrick-on-Shannon and Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim.
