Three people were treated in hospital today after a Dublin Bus mounted the footpath and crashed into the wall of a house in Crumlin.

The crash is understood to have involved the a double-decker bus on the 121 route shortly after 9am at the junction of Clonard Road and Kildare Road.

The female bus driver and two  passengers were taken to hospital to be treated for shock.

Gardaí said no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
