Three men remain in custody today over the murder of a suspected drug dealer in Cork earlier this year.

Three men remain in custody today over the murder of a suspected drug dealer in Cork earlier this year.

Father of two Darren Falsey (36)  was shot dead when he answered a knock at the front door of his home in Ashbourne Court, Ferney Road, Carrigaline, on August 3rd.

Three men have been arrested in recent days in connection with his murder.

A 22-year-old man was arrested in in Carrigaline shortly after 8am yesterday and taken to the Bridewell Garda station in Cork city for questioning. He can be held for up to seven days before being released or charged.

A 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old man who were arrested on Monday morning for questioning about the murder also remain in custody, gardaí said today.
