Gardaí have arrested three man and seized drugs and weapons in a raid in Limerick city this afternoon.
A small amount of heroin, ammunition and a fire-arm were discovered at a house in the Edward Street area of Limerick city shortly after noon.
At least ten armed officers were involved in the operation.
The men arrested - an Egyptian, a Lebanese national and an Irish man - are all aged in their 20s.
They are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act. They can be held for up to 72 hours
