Three held after heroin find in Meath

Heroin with a street value of between £80,000 and £100,000 was seized at a house in Du leek, Co Meath, at on Wednesday night. Almost £9,000 in cash was also seized in the operation which was carried out by members of the of the divisional drug unit from Store Street. Three people were taken to Store Street Garda station where they were detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1986.
