Three people have been arrested after gardai and customs officers seized cocaine and cannabis with an estimated value of €500,000 at Dublin

The drugs were seized today and yesterday, a Garda statement said.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested yesterday at 3pm and she is being detained at Ballymun Garda station.

A second woman, aged 25, was arrested later yesterday evening at the airport. She appeared before Dublin District Court today and was remanded in custody until next Tuesday.

A 40-year-old man was arrested today and he is being held at Whitehall Garda station.

All three are detained under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

The operation involved the Santry Drugs Unit, Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Garda National Immigration Bureau
