Three arrested over murder of Dublin man

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three men in their thirties in connection with the murder Sean Toomey.

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three men in their thirties in connection with the murder Sean Toomey.

The body of Mr Toomey (41), of father of two from Swords, Co Dublin, was discovered in a house on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, shortly on February 24th.

A post mortem showed he died from head injuries following a violent assault.

Gardaí said two of the men arrested today were being questioned at Kilmainham Garda Station while the third man was being held at Kevin Street station.

All three are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, which allows for suspects to be detained for six hours.
