LONDON - A death threat has been made against singer Sinead O'Connor, who is to hold a concert this month in Jerusalem to call for the creation of a Palestinian capital in the city, according to the London Times's edition of today.
The British embassy in Israel told the Times that the threat - made to one of its staff by an anonymous caller who did not give a motive - was being taken seriously. Israeli and Western intelligence sources believe the threat was made on behalf of far-right Jews.
