Thousands of runners in 60 different locations across the country have been taking part in the GOAL Mile to raise funds for projects in the developing world.
This year is the charity's 30th anniversary and the 26th year that it has been hosting the GOAL mile. The biggest of the events was held in Dublin's Phoenix Park.
Last year more than €300,000 was raised from the event.
