Two trains collided on the Mediterranean island of Corsica, injuring at least 30 people, France's LCI television reported today.

It gave no further details.

Earlier today the SNCF state railways reported widespread sabotage to signalling installations on its mainland network but there was no indication of any damage to the rail network on Corsica.
