A Lotto winner on Wednesday had his wallet stolen from his back pocket - but the winning ticket was in the front pocket of his jeans.

The winning syndicate comprised six friends including a husband and wife who each won £83,333.

The second winning ticket of the £1 million jackpot was bought at O'Leary shop, Slaney Place, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. This has not been claimed.
