A Dublin man has been jailed for eight months for a series of burglaries in Rathmines. Thomas Smith (24), of St Theresa's Gardens, Dublin, pleaded guilty to carrying out the robberies between August and November 1995. A total of £1,200 worth of property was stolen from private homes, none of which had been recovered, Dublin District Court was told.
Judge David Riordan sentenced Smith to eight months in jail and ordered him to seek treatment for drug addiction.
