Clonmel's Galloglass Theatre Company consolidated its steadily growing reputation in 1993 with a hit production by Colin Teevan of Swift's Gulliver's Travels.

Now it has revived the play with a quite different but equally successful approach by director Theresia Guschlbauer, one that focuses on the work's satirical content.

The production, (featuring John Gulliver as Gulliver, above) is now on a hectic tour, including in its itinerary one-night stands in many less-well known venues; Kilmallock, Macroom, Skibbereen, Fermoy, Ennis, Nenagh and Prosperous are among them. The final stop will be in Dublin in the apt setting of St Patrick's Cathedral where, of course, Swift is buried. It opens there on Thursday June 29th.
