Northern playwright Marie Jones has been flying high in recent years, and Stones In His Pockets has enabled her to share that success with some of her collaborators in the recent Irish Times/ESB Awards. As directed by her husband, the actor Ian McElhinney, it won Best Actor for Conleth Hill (pictured right) and Best Production for Belfast's Lyric Theatre. The performance of Sean Campion (also pictured), the other half of this two-hander, has been highly praised too. It has already had a outing in Dublin, and is now at the Tivoli Theatre for those who missed it the first time around. It then goes to London's West End and then on to America.
