The multi-talented Michael Scott, having restored the SFX Theatre to life last year and managed it since, is not short of ideas on how to fill it.

His latest adventure, playing for three performances next week from Thursday to Saturday, is a new chamber opera, composed by Mr Scott himself and based on The Dreaming of the Bones, the play by W B Yeats, featuring Derek Chapman (right).

The ensemble will include notable singers and actors from Ireland, Scotland and the U.K., and David Hayes will conduct a seven piece traditional/contemporary orchestra which combines uileann pipes and fiddle with instruments from the classical orchestra. This is a timely revival for the Yeats play.
