Madrid - Spain's Supreme Court yesterday began considering its verdict in the trial of the political wing of the Basque guerrilla group, ETA, on charges that it collaborated with armed rebels and defended terrorism. A three-judge panel which will decide the fate of the 23-member leadership of the Herri Batasuna party is not expected to deliver its verdict for several weeks.
