A teenager suffered a serious head injury after he was struck by a car in Co Down this morning.
The boy, 14, was taken to hospital following the accident shortly before 10.45am on the Bann Road, Castlewellan.
Detectives have appealed for anybody who witnessed the collision to contact them.
