An man was recovering in hospital today after being injured in a drive-by shooting in west Dublin last night.
The man, 18, was walking along Deansrath Park in Clondalkin when he was fired at from a passing vehicle.
He was hit in the chest and made his way to a nearby house to raise the alarm before being taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The attack happened at about 8.30pm.
Gardai said they had yet to receive a description of the vehicle or the attacker.
