A teenager has been arrested following the death of a man at a house in Co Cork yesterday evening.

A teenager has been arrested following the death of a man at a house in Co Cork yesterday evening.

The 30-year-old, who was stabbed, was pronounced dead at the house in the Ard Na Greine estate in Blarney at about 9pm.

The 17-year-old male is being held at Gurranabraher Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The area has been sealed off for forensic investigation and a post mortem will be carried out today.

Gardaí are seeking help from anyone who may have been in the Ard Na Greine area between 8pm and 9pm last evening, and may have witnessed anything unusual to contact Gurranabraher Garda station on 021 4946200.
