Teenager charged over over Antrim stabbing

A teenager was charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed on a garage forecourt.

A teenager was charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed on a garage forecourt.

The 36-year-old victim was treated for knife wounds to the back after a fight broke out on North Road, Ballymena, Co Antrim.

A police spokesman said a 17-year-old make would appear before Ballymena Magistrates Court today.

A second man arrested in connection with the attack, which happened shortly before 2am, remains in custody.
