Police in Delhi are hunting a man who shot dead a teenage girl after she told him not to urinate against her front door.
The murder is the latest in a series of violent incidents in the Indian capital.
The 17-year-old victim, identified only as Binno, was shot twice in the head and died before reaching hospital.
Her 40-year-old mother was also injured.
The gunman, a former tenant, had been drinking, police said.
Public urination, as well as spitting, is a common sight in Indian cities where there are few public toilets. Repeated public health campaigns have had little impact. – (Guardian service)
