A 16-year-old boy is in hospital after being stabbed in the chest in the Moyross area of Limerick.
The incident happened just after 2pm at Whitecross Gardens, Moyross.
He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to come foreward.
