The Northern secretary of the INTO, Mr Frank Bunting, yesterday expressed his disappointment that the North's Minister of Education, Mr Martin McGuinness, has rejected a request from the North's teacher unions for the millennium holiday to apply to their school year. The holiday was granted in the Republic.
"This is a dismal start from our new Education Minister," said Mr Bunting.
