Dublin taxi-drivers have welcomed the call by the newly-formed Dublin Nightclub Association for an extension of the opening hours in pubs and night-clubs. A spokesman for the drivers, Mr John Ussher, said staggering the closing times in pubs and clubs would reduce the pressure on the taxi service.
