The Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, was in Killarney yesterday for the official opening of what he described as "another jewel in the crown for Killarney", a £6 million convention centre at the Gleneagle Hotel. Mr Ahern was accompanied by Ms Celia Larkin.
The opening of the National Events Centre preceded the Irish premiere of Ceol Chiarrai's 30-member show, To Dance On The Moon, which will run for the summer at the centre.
