Dar-Es-Salaam - Tanzania has dropped charges against an Egyptian charged with the August 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Dar-Es-Salaam and deported him, police said yesterday. A second man accused of the attack, a Tanzanian, was still charged with the bombing and would be tried in Tanzania, they added. A police statement said a magistrate dropped all charges against Mustafa Mahmoud Ahmed on Thursday.
