COLOMBO - A female Tamil rebel suicide bomber killed at least 21 people, mostly civilians, and wounded the Sri Lankan Housing Minister, Mr Nimal Siripala de Silva, in the northern Jaffna peninsula yesterday. The blast in Jaffna town killed an army brigadier and five soldiers and wounded about 50 people.
