The family of a Tallaght man charged in connection with car theft have been forced out of their home, a court heard yesterday. The family of Mr Anthony Keegan (25) had to move from Knockmore to Lansdowne Village, Crumlin, the Dublin District Court heard.

Mr Keegan is accused of being in a stolen car at Castleknock last Monday. Garda Michael Jordan objected to bail because of the defendant's address. He said the family had only been in Crumlin for four weeks and had to move from Tallaght "for own safety". Judge Thelma King remanded the man in custody for one week because of an outstanding bench warrant.
