Government prosecutors intend to file corruption charges against Taiwanese first lady Wu Shu-chen, media sources reported today.

The prosecutor also plans to file charges against other officials in the government of President Chen Shui-biana, including a former close aide to Mr Chen, it was reported.

The filing of charges stems from a case involving Mr Chen and his possible underdocumented use of funds from a special state affairs budget.
