London - Churchgoers attacked by a man with a sword last November yesterday spoke of their forgiveness as he was ordered to be detained indefinitely. They said Eden Strang needed help, not punishment, for the attack which left 11 of them seriously injured.

Strang (26) was ordered to be detained at a secure mental hospital without limit of time after an Old Bailey jury found he was legally insane.
