A Limerick haulier was given, a seven-year suspended sentence at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin yesterday for storing stolen vehicles used in IRA robberies.

Michael McEniry (40), of Knockroe, Kilteely, pleaded guilty in February last year to handling a stolen car and van, damaging the car and van and handling two radios and other stolen property between May 14th and June 11th, 1994. The court adjourned sentence for a year after he gave an undertaking to dissociate himself from the IRA.
