Zagreb - Croatia arrested a dozen people, including two army generals, yesterday in what appeared to be a crackdown against those allegedly involved in atrocities in Bosnia and Croatia during the early 1990s.

Gen Ivan Andabak and MajGen Ignac Kostroman were apprehended in two different towns at the request of the Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia, the state TV said. Both are suspected of taking part in crimes against Bosnian Muslims.
