The status of thousands of summonses which has been thrown into doubt by a High Court ruling last month will shortly be determined by the Supreme Court. The court has fixed November 25th for the State's appeal against a High Court decision by Mr Justice McCracken which found the appointment of the State's 185 District Court clerks to be invalid.
