A suicide car bomber rammed his car into a house north of Baghdad and killed at least 10 people and wounded 12, the US military said today.
The attack late yesterday occurred in a village near the town of Balad, about 80 kilometres north of Baghdad, a US military spokesman said.
There has been a surge in suicide car bombings over the past six weeks, mostly in the capital, Baghdad.
