A suicide bomber killed 10 people and wounded 11 today near a Shia mosque in the town of Khalis, north of Baghdad, police said.
They said the bomber targeted the Shia mosque after Friday prayers in the town, which is in the religiously mixed province of Diyala, a hotbed of sectarian violence.
