A suicide car bomb attack this morning in Baghdad has killed 11 and injured 22, police said.
The convoy of Iraq's minister of labour was the target of the bombing. A spokesman said the minister was unhurt. Three of his bodyguards were among the dead.
A Reuters television cameraman filmed the attack but said an Iraqi soldier confiscated his videotape.
The cameraman saw a car collide with a convoy of six or seven four-wheel-drive vehicles and explode near Tahrir square in central Baghdad.
Police and bodyguards in the convoy opened fire after the attack. Several vehicles crashed, and others sped away.
