Students killed in car accident

The driver and passenger of a car were killed in an accident in Glasnevin, Dublin, early yesterday

The driver and passenger of a car were killed in an accident in Glasnevin, Dublin, early yesterday. The two were 19 year old students. Their car went out control on a bend on Finglas Road between the junction of Old Finglas Road and Avenue and struck a tree.

They were named as Andrew Corri, from Claremont Court, Glasnevin, and Gerard McCarthy from Claremont Drive, Glasnevin. They were due to begin studies at DIT Kevin Street and DIT Rathmines this autumn.
