Dublin Coroner's CourtA woman whose partner is charged with her murder died as a result of neck compressions and blunt force trauma to the head, Dublin Coroner's Court heard.

Mary Ryan (37) died shortly after being found unconscious at her home at Sherrard Street Upper in north inner city Dublin on May 21st this year.

Gardaí had been alerted to injuries she had sustained and she was brought to the Mater hospital where she subsequently died.

Ms Ryan’s partner Waldemar Solowiow (44) faces homicide charges in relation to her murder.

The inquest was adjourned indefinitely until criminal proceedings are completed. The case is going to trial at the Central Criminal Court.
