Police in Co Tyrone have issued a warning to the public to be vigilant following a claim a bomb had been left near Strabane PSNI station.
A PSNI spokesman said a telephone warning was received overnight that an explosive device had been placed in the vicinity of the station.
Police searched the area but nothing was found.
The spokesman urged any member of the public who notices any suspicious objects to contact the police.
