LONDON - Scotland's historic Stone of Scone, on which Scottish kings were crowned until it was seized 700 years ago by English King Edward I, took the high road home yesterday.

The official border handover of the giant stone is to take place on a bridge crossing the River Tweed at the Scottish border town of Coldstream today.
