A 62-year-old retired Co Derry labourer on sex charges dating back 28 years has failed in his attempt to stay the proceedings. Mr Gregg Berry, defending, had argued that Mr John Francis Coyle, of Lindsayville, Ballyronan, Magherafelt, could not have a fair trial in view of the lapse of time. Mr Coyle denies the charges.
