If you're not a Spice fan it may be an idea to avoid St Stephen's Green west this morning as it will be mobbed with little wannabe Spice Girls. Fear not, it's not the advent of another pre-pubescent girl band guaranteed to make us all feel we're old and fat with boring names, merely the preview of Spiceworld: The Movie.
The lucky kids, who are all invitees or competition winners, have been asked to dress as their favourite S.G. and a celebrity panel including RTE's Ian Dempsey and Des Cahill will choose a doppelganger girlie group. After dining at 10 a.m. on a delightfully indigestible breakfast of Pepsi, popcorn and chocolate, the whole shooting match will head over to Virgin Cinemas to see the film.
And I tell you what I want, what I really really want - is to stay in bed and miss it all.
