IT comes as absolutely no surprise to discover that incredibly beautiful models can wear glasses and still look drop dead gorgeous - which makes it a bit of a puzzle that Ellen McNally brought over model Sophie Anderton to plug her family's new opticians on Stephen's Green in Dublin. Surely better to get some plain Janes and show how transforming a groovy pair of specs can be? Uber babe Sophie (as in baby - she's only 19) is also the Gossard model, which caused several men who had seen Sophie in the very revealing bra ads to come over all peculiar in the Unicorn Restaurant where we were lunching on Wednesday. Sophie was a little pouty about missing the shows in Milan and Paris "cos that's where the money is until I can get a make up contract" but is looking forward to shooting Desire, Channel 4's new fashion programme.
