Special-needs buses stolen in Co Westmeath

Three buses, two of which had been adapted for special-needs users, were stolen in Co Westmeath last night.

The buses, two Mercedes Sprinters and one Renault traffic, are white.

One of the Sprinters and the Renault Traffic had been adapted for special needs users and had a wheelchair lift to the rear.

The buses have a combined value of €152,000 and were stolen from the Esker Bus and Coach company in Kilbeggan sometime after 5pm yesterday.
